Adobe Photoshop’s Style Layer presets allow users to implement design
elements to their projects with a click of the mouse. Since the
settings have already been set, you can modify the settings to change
the appearance to your liking. The following is a take on the popular Indiana Jones logo. You will
need the Adventure font and this style layer to recreate this
appearance.
You can do a Google search for the Adventure font to
download it.
To Install: Windows users need to unzip the contents into your Program Files>Adobe Photoshop>Presets>Styles. Macintosh users need to unzip the contents into your Adobe Photoshop Styles directory.
After you unzip the file, you will need to install the style layer by opening the Styles palette in Photoshop and choosing the Load Styles option. Navigate to the “TecKMagazine Indiana Jones.asl” file in your Styles directory and you should now see it appear in your Styles palette.

Style effect:
After you have installed the font, select the font type from within Photoshop and type your text onto a new file. Then click on the style layer in your palette and you should now have the Indiana Jones color scheme and appearance applied to your text. It should appear similar to the example above. You can use the warped text feature in Photoshop to give your design a more curved look.
This works very well if you’re looking at reproducing the “Indiana Jones” movie type style as quickly and easily as possible.
