Sims Pool for iPod Review Sims Pool is another casual game release for the latest classic iPods, third generation iPod nanos and the older fifth generation iPods. With the iPod’s click wheel, playing pool appears to be a natural choice for the device. The game offers a variety of game options to choose from as well as some interesting twists to move the game beyond expectations. This is what I discovered about The Sims Pool for the Apple iPods. Sims Pool is another casual game release for the latest classic iPods, third generation iPod nanos and the older fifth generation iPods. With the iPod’s click wheel, playing pool appears to be a natural choice for the device. The game offers a variety of game options to choose from as well as some interesting twists to move the game beyond expectations. This is what I discovered about The Sims Pool for the Apple iPods.

You start out by creating your Sim then you can choose to play a quick game of 8-ball, 9-ball or trick shot mode. The great thing about playing this game on an iPod is that it is pretty easy to control your cue stick.

Just click the wheel on your iPod and adjust the angle. When you press the click wheel again, you can set the spin on your cue shot. While you are setting your spin, you can drag your finger along the click wheel to set the hit mark on your cue ball. Once you have your spin set, just click the wheel one more time to set the power of your shot and watch your shot go. It may seem like a lot to go through just to take a shot but you’ll get used to it.

If you really want to improve your skills, you can play practice games by yourself so you can practice shots, angles and situations.

I wish there were more gaming options but you should still have enough with the 8-ball, 9-ball and the variety of challenges to complete. The more you play games of 8 and 9-ball, your Sim’s aspiration level will increase, which will lead to a better Sim lifestyle or some more Sim money to help buy a better Sim lifestyle.

Sims Pool for iPod Review Just like in real-life, you can use your Sim money to buy better equipment, other products or even get some advice on improving your game. Another cool feature is the game’s ability to keep track of your of your match record and play statistics.

Now you can play against a computer opponent or you can choose to play against a friend with the game’s Pass ‘N Play feature. The Sims Pool is a perfect game to play on the iPods. It is extremely easy to control, has a number of options available to extend the game and it has that familiar Sims franchise behind it.

Overall, Sims Pool for classic iPods, third generation iPod nanos and fifth generation iPods is a pretty good release. With an affordable price of only $4.99 and the game’s ease of use on the iPod, The Sims Pool earns four and a half stars out of five. Good recommendation.
