The game play is very challenging and you will probably find yourself stuck a time or two. Don’t give up and take your time analyzing the entire level. Eventually you will find the information or the opportunity to continue through the level. As you progress through the game, you will manage to find plenty of weapons. Determining when to use the appropriate weapon will help you get through numerous situations with a minimal health loss although I found it funny at times to be using a weapon like the warhammer on a few of the smaller enemies and zombies. Some of the weapons and items you will find during the game include the club, warhammer, various shields, swords, bows and arrows, runes and other miscellaneous objects.
The Final Word
MediEvil Resurrection is an excellent game and another successful continuation of the MediEvil franchise. The storyline, game play, controls and the overall experience was extremely fun and enjoyable. I was particularly impressed with the environmental art, general graphics and the level of detail that the developer (SCEE Cambridge Studio) utilized throughout the game. MediEvil Resurrection displays beautifully on my PSP’s LCD screen. The game’s music is dark, haunting and very appropriate for the storyline.
The cutscenes throughout the game are absolutely incredible. The animation work done to create Zarok and Sir Daniel are amazingly detailed. Don’t skip through the game’s cutscenes because I think you will enjoy them. MediEvil Resurrection is a wonderful example of the kind of quality graphics you can achieve with the PSP. The scenery throughout the game displays beautifully. It’s one of the most graphically detailed games I’ve played so far on the PSP and it made the game even more enjoyable to play.
MediEvil Resurrection contains a great storyline, beautiful graphics and a number of options such as multiplayer and mini games that will have you playing this game for a very long time. A 4.5 star recommendation!
