Sonnet USB Power Adapter for iPod Sonnet introduced the USB Power Adapter for the Apple iPod to help keep you entertained while on the go. The USB Power Adapter only requires an available power outlet so you can plug your iPod in for a quick recharge.

With its three-foot USB A cable, the Sonnet iPod USB Power Adapter also has a dock connector. I had a similar device but that one was quite larger than this one. Being that this USB Power Adapter is smaller, it is a lot easier to transport.

To use the Sonnet iPod USB Power Adapter, plug the adapter directly into a power outlet by pulling the prongs out of the power adapter. Then plug the USB connector to the port at the top of the Power Adapter. Then connect your iPod to the dock connector.

When you are done using the device, don't forget to push the prongs back into the power adapter to prevent them from getting damaged.

The Sonnet iPod USB Power Adapter retails for $19.99 and can be used with Apple's iPod, iPod shuffle, iPod nano, iPod mini, iPod with color display and the video iPod.

Overall, the Sonnet iPod USB Power Adapter worked pretty good. The hard plastic shell serves as good protection and the device remains very lightweight. So if you are looking for a quick power solution for your iPod, then you should consider the iPod USB Power Adapter from Sonnet Technologies.
