For those of you with a PalmOne Treo 650 cell phone, Speck Products created a beautifully molded, soft rubber casing called the SkinTight to protect your cell phone from the forces of nature. The SkinTight comes in three different colors (clear, blue and black). If you're like me and have broken a few cell phones (in a variety of different ways I might add) over the years, then you have to take a look at the SkinTight for the popular Treo 650 SmartPhone.

The Installation
After slinking the Treo 650 into its new, soft rubber casing, I quickly realized how cool the SkinTight is. The SkinTight looks exactly like an actual Treo 650. The form fitting design looks sleek and with a quick glance, you won't even be able to tell that your SmartPhone is being protected by a quarter inch, soft rubber shell.

Looking over the entire shell, the first thing you notice is the lower buttons (applications button, phone/send button, calendar button, 5 way navigator button, menu button, power/end button and the email/messaging button) are covered by the SkinTight. The buttons are covered but each button is easily accessible through the rubber shell because the SkinTight is form fitted to the contour of each button. The buttons are raised to give the user the same touch feeling of control as they experienced without the SkinTight.

Even with the SkinTight protecting your Treo 650, you still have the same quick access to your SmartPhone's capabilities.

Features such as the built-in speaker, volume button, phone speaker, digital camera button, ringer on/off switch and even the expansion card slot are easily accessible because Speck Products created cutouts of those sections in the SkinTight to accommodate the device.

The Final Word
Speck Products really did their homework in developing the SkinTight protector for the PalmOne Treo 650. They left nothing to chance by designing the SkinTight to the exact specifications of an actual Treo 650. The form fitted rubber is shaped to fit your Treo 650 like a glove. Every feature of the SmartPhone is exposed for quick and easy access.

Speck Products did an excellent job designing and producing the SkinTight. You can see that they labored over every detail to ensure that the user would not feel hindered by the new skin. If you have a PalmOne Treo 650 SmartPhone, then you must put this accessory at the top of your list. You invested a lot of time and money into your new device, protect your investment with the SkinTight for Treo 650.
