 OtterBox 1921 is a protective case for the Palm Treo. The Treo is a sophisticated handheld device that mainly serves the business class. This device can hold a tremendous amount of data and contact information, which makes it crucial for mobile user. The mobile ability is what makes it so valuable but it is worthless unless you can access your data when you need it.
To protect your data investment, OtterBox has created the 1921 Palm Treo protective case. I picked up one of these cases and this is what I discovered about the OtterBox 1921 Palm Treo case.
 The OtterBox 1921 case fits the Palm Treo 680, 750 and 755p devices. The installation is very easy. Just lift up on the latch on the back of the case and unhinge the top of the latch from the case. The back of the case will slide right off and you can just slide your Treo up into the case. Slide the back right up the edge of the case until it is back to its original position. Snap the latch to the case and you’re ready to go.
The 1921 has a clear display protector on the outside of the case and a soft clear plastic right beneath that on the inside of the case to give an extra layer protection. You can still utilize your Treo’s touch screen capabilities through the soft plastic layer. All of your ports are accessible through the bottom of the case. You also have infra-red access through one side of the case and volume controls on the other side.
You will also have access to your camera through a covered hole in the back of the case. The case can withstand a drop and bump with the hard shell taking the brunt of the fall. This is not to say that you should become reckless with your Treo but it’s nice to know that it can survive an occasional jolt.
The hard plastic shell has the feel of maximum protection that can withstand the daily punishment from even the most demanding users. The case contains a holding area on the side of the case for your stylus.
The OtterBox 1921 is an excellent, must-have accessory for Treo 680, 750 and 755p users. The case is designed to allow easy access to all of your Treo features. You spend a lot of money to have all of the mobile functionality on one device, so why jeopardize that by using a lesser quality case? The OtterBox 1921 is the ultimate protection for your Treo and this is why it deserves 4.5 stars out of 5. Highly recommended.
