Body Glove iPod Case Review |

 The 30GB iPod case from Body Glove is the latest protector for Apple's
media device. This protector is similar to other devices in that it is
form-fitting to the iPod and has all of the available openings for the
USB cable, earphones and clickwheel. While most cases are hard shells,
the Body Glove iPod case is a soft neoprene that holds your iPod in
place. I picked one up andthis is what I discovered about this device.
The neoprene case feels similar to a wetsuit (for those who enjoy water sports). But make no mistake, this case is not waterproof and is not meant to be used anywhere near water. The case has a clear plastic cover to protect the iPod video screen but does not have any cover for the clickwheel. The product comes with a strap that you can fit through the back of the case and you can then wear it on your arm. While the case itself is not waterproof, the neoprene case will repel sweat buildup and body moisture from making contact with your iPod.
You install your 30GB iPod through the opening in the bottom of the case and it is held in place with a button flap that folds over the opening and keeps the iPod in place.
As I explained earlier, the iPod has an opening in the bottom so you would not have to remove the iPod from the case to attach it to your USB cable. There is also openings in the top of the case for your earphones.
Overall, the case is solid and provides good protection for the iPod. I wish the clickwheel had some protection. Even the clear plastic that protected the video screen would have been a good choice to put over the clickwheel instead of having nothing there at all. Other than that, the case is well-built, relatively inexpensive and should provide a good layer of protection from your daily routine.
