I-O DATA DEVICE USA announced the availability of LocationFree software for Apple Mac OS-based computers. When installed on a Macintosh desktop or notebook computer, the TLF-MAC/E software package allows the computer to receive and control streaming video from a Sony LocationFree base station.

Video Game Industry Sues the State of Minnesota

The computer and video game industry filed suit today in Minnesota Federal District Court, asking that the State's new video game law be overturned, the Entertainment Software Association announced today. Similar laws have been struck down by six courts in five years, including the Eighth Circuit which governs Minnesota, costing taxpayers thousands of dollars in legal fees.
