The Sound Guy, Inc., has added Mac OS X Universal support to their sound design plug-ins, SFX Machine RT and SFX Machine Pro. As a result, their products now run natively on both PowerPC- and Intel-based Macintosh computers, as well as Windows PCs.

In addition to adding OS X Universal support, SFX Machine Pro 1.01 fixes a bug when running under MOTU's Digital Performer.

SFX Machine Pro is the latest and most advanced entry in the award-winning SFX Machine family of VST and Audio Unit multi-effects plug-ins. It includes:

- Over 300 effects, including more than 50 new effects - Modular Preset Editor lets you create your own effects from scratch - Host Tempo Sync matches LFO frequencies and delay times to your music - Output Limiter

Streamlined for use in audio production environments, SFX Machine has been used to do sound design for radio production, TV shows, feature films, CDs and video games. It can also serve as a "swiss army knife" of audio utilities.

SFX Machine RT has a list price of US $99; SFX Machine Pro lists for $199.
