NVIDIA and Alienware Showcase SLI Notebooks at E3 Alienware Aurora mALX notebook with 19" display will be powered by two NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX GPUs. 17" Alienware Aurora m9700 will be powered by dual GeForce Go 7900 GS GPUs.

Delivering new levels of visual realism at extreme high-definition (XHD) resolutions of 1680x1050 and higher, NVIDIA SLI technology enables dual NVIDIA(R) GPUs to be used in notebooks based on the NVIDIA nForce(R)4 SLI core-logic solution.

These new enthusiast notebooks, targeted at one of the fastest growing segments of the consumer notebook market, are among the fastest available dual GPU gaming notebooks in the world.

NVIDIA SLI Technology
NVIDIA SLI technology is a patent-pending hardware and software solution that enables the use of two NVIDIA GeForce GPUs in SLI-certified notebooks featuring NVIDIA nForce4 SLI core logic solutions. The technology features an intelligent communication protocol embedded in the GPU and a high-speed digital interface on the graphics board to facilitate data flow.
