Delivering new levels of visual realism at extreme high-definition (XHD) resolutions of 1680x1050 and higher, NVIDIA SLI technology enables dual NVIDIA(R) GPUs to be used in notebooks based on the NVIDIA nForce(R)4 SLI core-logic solution.
These new enthusiast notebooks, targeted at one of the
fastest growing segments of the consumer notebook market, are among the fastest
available dual GPU gaming notebooks in the world.
NVIDIA SLI Technology
NVIDIA SLI technology is a patent-pending hardware and
software solution that enables the use of two NVIDIA GeForce GPUs in
SLI-certified notebooks featuring NVIDIA nForce4 SLI core logic solutions. The
technology features an intelligent communication protocol embedded in the GPU
and a high-speed digital interface on the graphics board to facilitate data
flow. A complete suite of NVIDIA software provides dynamic load balancing, and
advanced rendering and compositing to provide smooth frame rates and outstanding
image quality.
