GelaSkins has teamed up with New Line Cinema to create iPod skins for Summer's most anticipated cult film "Snakes on a Plane." GelaSkins, a new force in the iPod accessory industry, has been busy turning the iPod into a canvas for personal expression. Working with artists and designers from around the world, they have developed an artistic approach to iPod protection.

GelaSkins lists over 15 contributing skin designers on their website's Artist section. There you will also find short artist biographies and links to their personal sites and galleries. Artists are encouraged to submit their original images for consideration, as GelaSkins is always looking to add new designers to their team.

The GelaSkins website changes its appearance every other week, taking on the look of images from their latest featured artist. They are currently showcasing an urban landscape titled 'Kurumachi' by the Japanese design collective Loworks.

A new collaboration with New Line Cinema has GelaSkins producing iPod skins for "Snakes on a Plane." The underground buzz has turned the movie into a cult hit well before it hits theatres on August 18th. These skins are sure to be a hit with the same web-savvy crowd that's responsible for creating the hype.

The entire line of GelaSkins, including the "Snakes on a Plane" skins, are available online at GelaSkins.com for $14.95. There are over 175 skins available for both new and older generation iPods. The interactive site allows visitors to pick their iPod model and 'try on' different skins showing exactly what their iPod will look like in its new skin. Coming soon to retail locations around the globe.
