AJA Video to Unveil New KONA Cards at SIGGRAPH |

AJA Video will be showcasing the latest versions of its KONA (Mac) and XENA (Windows) video playback and capture cards at SIGGRAPH 2006.
The KONA 3 v2 and XENA 2K feature advanced support and plug-ins for seamless integration with leading graphics and effects applications, such as Apple Shake and Motion, Autodesk Combustion®, Eyeon Fusion®, Adobe After Effects® and Adobe Photoshop®. AJA Video will be demonstrating these technologies from Booth 1031 at this year’s SIGGRAPH Conference, to be held in Boston, MA from August 1 –3, 2006.
AJA Video will be demonstrating the Windows XP-based XENA 2K with its v2 software upgrade, which is also available for the XENA LS and LH line of video playback and capture cards. XENA video and audio I/O cards offer unmatched support within Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop, with capture and playback directly within the application, as well as custom plug-ins for Eyeon Fusion 5® and Autodesk Combustion 4®. And because all XENA products come packaged with AJA’s Machina ™ software, allowing users to bring video and audio into 3D, audio, and even CAD programs, the XENA 2K is an even more powerful application for filmmakers and VFX artists in need of an elegant software interface for deck-control, playback and recording.
Also showcased at AJA’s SIGGRAPH booth will be 2K resolution format support with the v2 upgrade to the Mac OSX-based KONA 3. KONA 3 v2, the company’s top-of-the-line HD/SD video capture card, is the ultimate uncompressed capture card for SD, HD and Dual Link 4:4:4:4 HD for PCI Express (PCIe) Apple G5 Power Macs and Apple Final Cut Studio.
